Nathan Ivey

REO Specialist & Real Estate Associate

Markets: Richardson - Dallas, Collin & Rockwall Counties

Nathan Ivey brings a rare, three-dimensional perspective to real estate owned (REO) and distressed-property transactions: the formal training of a real estate degree, the institutional discipline of an asset manager, and the technical precision of a licensed insurance claims adjuster. That combination allows him to evaluate a bank-owned or distressed property not just as a listing, but as an asset to be accurately valued, repaired, and repositioned for the best possible return.

Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the University of North Texas, providing a strong foundation in property valuation, market analysis, and real estate transactions. He built on that foundation over more than a decade managing multi-state REO and default portfolios for institutional clients including Freddie Mac, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Bank of America — work that included overseeing property preservation, reconciling BPO and appraisal valuations, setting pricing strategy, negotiating offers, and managing contracts through to closing.

As a multi-state licensed property and casualty claims adjuster, Nathan also brings hands-on expertise in damage assessment and repair estimating — scoping losses, writing estimates, and coordinating repairs across a wide range of property conditions. This background gives him an unusually clear, practical read on what a single-family home needs to reach market-ready condition, which repairs add real value, and how to scope and price that work accurately — a distinct advantage for banks, asset managers, and investors who need dependable, data-driven guidance on REO and distressed properties.

Whether managing a listing from acquisition through resale or advising a client on repair scope and pricing strategy, Nathan pairs institutional-grade process with local market expertise to help clients move properties efficiently, accurately, and profitably.
