Jody Gant is a licensed Texas real estate professional and special assets specialist with more than 20 years of experience managing distressed assets, REO portfolios, and complex real estate transactions across residential, commercial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties.
Throughout his career, Jody has managed assets through the full real estate lifecycle, from default and foreclosure through stabilization, valuation, marketing, and disposition. His experience includes REO valuation and pricing, BPO and appraisal review, hold-versus-sell analysis, loss mitigation, title and lien resolution, property preservation, repair oversight, municipal compliance, and coordination with brokers, attorneys, appraisers, property managers, and other service providers.
Jody also brings significant experience in special asset management and financial analysis. He has evaluated distressed and non-performing assets using cash flow modeling, loan-to-value analysis, debt service coverage ratios, net operating income, rent rolls, and other financial measures to develop strategies focused on protecting asset value and maximizing recovery. His background includes managing institutional portfolios as well as personally overseeing a diverse real estate portfolio across Texas.
His experience with complex commercial and residential assets gives him a practical understanding of the operational, financial, and regulatory challenges that can arise throughout the disposition process. He combines hands-on asset management experience with a disciplined approach to valuation, risk, property operations, and execution.
Jody earned both a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of North Texas. He is a licensed Texas Real Estate Agent.
